OpenRoad is featured playing outdoors on the Pavilion Plaza Stage at the beautiful Jack London Square Marina again! This event is focused on creating excitement for children in grade school and their parents for the new school year. The event planners will provide safety tips, personal identification kits and children's entertainment including a magician during the OpenRoad performance breaks. OpenRoad performs at: 11 am - 12 noon, 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm, 2 - 3 pm. Two dance contests are planned: “Musical Chairs” Contest for 6-8 yr. olds. “Hand Jive” Contest for 9-12 yr. olds. OpenRoad is the entertainment after the fund-raising cyclists complete their day ride in the Napa and Sonoma Wine Country on Saturday, September 9. The Event This two day bike tour takes you through some of the most beautiful parts of Northern California. The course begins Saturday in the world-renowned Napa Valley, and proceeds up the legendary Silverado Trail to the lunch stop in charming Calistoga. Tour more of the Napa and Sonoma County wine country. Spend your evening at the Youth Community Park in Santa Rosa . Dinner is prepared for you. Dance to the great Motown/R&B, Classic Rock sounds of the OpenRoad band. There will be an inspirational evening program. You can camp on-site or shuttle to and from your lodgings in the area. On Sunday, experience the renowned “Waves” course, traversing beautiful Sonoma County to the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean, where you will warm your body with a delicious lunch and your soul with unsurpassed coastal views.
